Who We Are
Susan Hall is Principal and Founder of Susan Hall Studio, which she launched in Boulder, CO, in 2012.
Hall began her design journey through the study of art, graphic design and photography. Being a first generation American, Susan’s European sensibility informs and enhances her projects. Having worked for multiple art museums and lived abroad in London and Greece, she has traveled extensively throughout the world. She also finds inspiration through nature’s masterly nuance of texture and color. Susan reveres well-crafted product design and is a self-admitted Historic home tour junkie.
Hall has also lived in great cities, such as New York City (twice) and Los Angeles, which have influenced her design education deeply. She thinks architects are just as cool as rock stars, and has worked with many talented ones in Colorado over 10 + years. Susan calls Boulder’s historic district home and is currently renovating a new “old” Mid-century house in South Boulder located on open space — a lifelong dream.
